Round Hill Tor isn’t named on any OS maps and it is also tricky to see it from even the surrounding hills. It is however a tor well worth the visit. There are a couple of ways you can get there, either through the gate by the road between Two Bridges and Princetown (if heading towards Two Bridges its after Oakery Bridge) or starting in Princetown and head towards the scout hut by Tor Royal farm. If you head the latter way then head down the hill to the concrete bridge but don’t cross it, follow the path along the river to the wooden bridge and cross there instead. The views from this tor to Bellever are excellent, along the Blackbrook River. There are no military firing areas around this tor.
