This tor sits not too far from Babeny and Sherwell, to the north of Dartmeet, and was named by the guys at Tor of Dartmoor website as it sits on Spitchwick Common. If you are already up at Babeny then drop on to the path which runs down, first alongside the Walla Brook and then the East Dart towards Dartmeet. The tor will be on you left after you have crossed the dinky footbridge and passed the bench, in summer the bracken will be up but the tor itself is a decent size so you should pick it out. The views are obscured on each side as higher ground is around you, but the nearby bench is a good spot to stop for a brew and enjoy a quiet corner of Dartmoor. No military firing ranges here.
