This tor tends to get mixed up with nearby Kingshead Tor, which is lower down the Two Moors Way path, pretty much right on the path. This tor sits just off to the left of the Two Moors Way as you ascend. There is plenty to see from up here, particularly due east all around to the south and to the west, Tors include Haytor, Rippon Tor, Corndon Tor, Bellever Tor and Higher White Tor, the views are very good. The easiest path to here is going to be the two moors way route, from either end of the huge Hameldown ridge. There are no military areas near this spot.
