This is a fine clapper bridge, strengthened and expanded to cross the River Bovey by the hamlet of Foxworthy. However the public access to this bridge stops at the actual road across the river. There are signs all around the bridge to tell you that it is private land on either side, so there is no access to the river here, the driveway that comes down from Langstone is also private for parts of it so as soon as you cross the bridge you are sent into the woods to keep you off the track. Its all a bit of a shame really because this is a picturesque place, with the bridge backed by thatched cottages.. However this bridge is an entrance to Neadon and Lustleigh Cleave, two brilliant places to walk in woodlands.
