This is another of those south Dartmoor bridges which span a higher part of a decent Dartmoor river. The river in question is the River Harbourne which eventually joins the River Dart at Stoke Gabriel. Gidley Bridge carries a road across it to the north of the village of South Brent, which links Bloody Pool and Deancombe and is a classic stone bridge.
