This is a lovely little clapper bridge in the hamlet of the same name sitting a stones throw from the southern edge of Dartmoor and the A38. It sits in the village of Harbourneford on the road between South Brent and Buckfastleigh, and is right by the road through that village. An iron railing has been added to the clapper bridge since its inception which I can’t decide whether I like or not, normally its a not! The River Harbourne runs under the clapper bridge on its way down from Gidley Bridge into South Hams and on to join the River Dart.
