An old packhorse bridge which spans the River Meavy near to the hamlet of Hoo Meavy and the linear village of Clearbrook. A narrow lane passes over this bridge joining these two places, while the river meanders underneath. The West Devon Way/Dartmoor Way paths pass by this point giving a good area for walking. The bridge may have been built in the 1850s, or certainly extended then to allow horse and cart to pass over easily.
