This bridge isn’t quite as famous as the bridge of the same name in Telford. In fact I’ve only ever seen it called this on the Castle Drogo walk guides, which use this bridge and Fingle Bridge as a crossing point for a classic circular walk around the River Teign. The bridge itself sits above the River Teign and its trout and salmon pools allowing for a good view along the river, especially downstream towards the weir.
