Smith Hill Clapper Bridge

This is a small, low clapper bridge over a minor stream, which flows downhill towards Cudlipptown. The name of the hamlet is said to derive from Cudda’s leap or Cudelipe, which likely refers to the stream over which the clapper carries the walker. The bridge is next to the lane out of Cudlipptown heading up towards White Tor, however crossing the stream and following the path will actually take you towards Boulters Tor.
