Kelly Mine

This was an iron mine, situated on the eastern side of Dartmoor, near to Lustleigh. The mine was used to produce corrosion resistant paint and finally closed in 1951. Today it is a museum and most Sunday’s it is open to the casual visitor, especially the museum hut. Occasionally there are open days as well. You will find a miners dry building, water wheel and the small reservoir here.
