This stone is less of a hanging stone and more of a leaning stone. It sits to the east of Hexton Tor and in the middle of Cross Dyke, which runs up towards Shell Top. The stone leans considerably however it is still an obvious stone when walking the path below. There is a cairn to the north which this stone is related, along with Cross Dyke. The views of the clay works mar the views from here as they do from this area.
