This is a small reservoir to the north of Fox Tor Mires as it starts its way along the River Swincombe. It sits in a wild area which is surrounded by tussocky grasses and boggy terrain. The only solid route in is along the track from Hexworthy, which gives the water company an easy way in. There have been plans previously to make this reservoir bigger but thankfully they were binned. This is comfortably the smallest of the Dartmoor reservoirs.
