This is probably my favourite reservoir on Dartmoor, its location on the eastern side of Dartmoor near to Holne has a nice remoteness about it. There is no road all the way around, just a small path, and plenty of opportunities for a sit, watching the world pass. There are plenty of places to head on to, such as Ryder’s Hill if you fancy a longer walk or across the road to Bench Tor and North Tor.
