This is a small ish waterfall with a bit of water going over it but a fairly decent drop distance overall. The reason for its small stature is its close proximity to the start of the river Yealm, only 20 mins walk north. It is however marked on an OS map and worthy of a visit. It sometimes goes by the name of Yealm Steps and is a good crossing point of the river before it drops down and widens as it heads through Dendels Waste. Its in a pretty spot with good views south to South Hams along the Yealm Valley.
