This is a fairly popular place to park with plenty of tors in easy reach from here. Whilst Haytor is only a mile away this area isn’t quite as busy however it still gets a fair few numbers. Whether you are heading to Buckland Beacon, Pil Tor or Rippon Tor and beyond this is a good spot to start from. There are 5 spots I have included in this page, the main parking spot on the Cold East Cross junction itself, which can get busy, if so then there are 4 others to choose from, all of which give you the same starting area. It is free to park at all these spots.
