Black Hill (Haytor)

Black Hill is a fairly flat topped place to the north of Haytor. Its a very simple downhill walk from Haytor to this top. An impressive cairn sits at the northernmost end of the hill (shown by the black arrow below), however the high point is an outcrop of rocks 200 metres south (shown by the red arrow below). The views are pretty good (providing the weather is with you!!), with Haytor and Rippon Tor to the south and Hameldown, Hound Tor and Chinkwell Tor to the west. There are no firing ranges near this tor.
