Bonehill Rocks

Bonehill Rocks are a popular climbing outcrop on the eastern side of Dartmoor. They lie close to the B3387 road to Widecombe in the Moor and are a very popular picnic spot. There are plenty of car parks here to get up these rocks and then extend the walk, either to the south and Top Tor or to the north and Chinkwell Tor. Being lower than its surrounding tors Bonehill Rocks has slightly restricted views although you can still see Haytor easily to the east. There are no military firing areas near here.
