Fitches Holt

This is a prominent outcrop at the eastern end of the Emsworthy Rocks row of granite. Its fairly obvious to pick out because if you stand on its southerly side it resembles an enormous granite armchair. This outcrop sits very close to the busy Haytor area, with the many parking spots along the B3387 and as a result it can get busy around here with the popular Saddle Tor only a stones throw away. There are no military firing areas near this tor.

The boys on Fitches Holt. Just like a huge armchair
