Fur Tor (Walkhampton)

Fur Tor sits on the side of Leeden Tor and is more of a rocky outcrop on the side of a hill than a tor itself. It is easy to get to because of the close proximity of the old Plymouth to Princetown railway track and parking either in Princetown itself or on the B3212 near to Leeden Tor will provide a simple journey to this tor. There is also a decent path down to Fur Tor from Leeden Tor and its only a short hop across the nearby bridge to Yes Tor (Walkhampton). This tor does not sit within the military firing range
