This tor sits, obviously, within the woodland of Great Warmpit, just down the hill from Castor Woods. This tor sits downhill from Lower Castor, heading across the fence from this tor in a WNW direction, you will see the wall coming down on your right, this leads you to Great Warmpit, The outcrop is fairly large, especially from below, with one large main outcrop and lots of big boulders all around, a classic woodland tor. Be careful of the ground which can be slippery here. There are no military firing ranges here.
