Hartland Tor

Hartland Tor is not normally a tor used as the aim for a walk, but rather a tor you pass on the way to more remote places. Whether it be the higher spots of Sittaford Tor or the beautiful East Dart waterfall and Sandy Hole Pass. However it is worth stopping a while having a brew and enjoying the vistas across the East Dart River to distant Higher White Tor or back towards Postbridge. The starting point for this tor will almost certainly be Postbridge, setting out across the fields and around the prominent house to climb Hartland Tor. There are no military firing ranges near this tor.
