Honeybag Tor is at the end of a long stretch of tors starting from Wittaburrow and heading across Top Tor, Bell Tor and finishing here on Honeybag Tor. There are great views to Haytor and Hound Tor, as well as along the valley to the west to Widecombe. The easiest approach to this tor is along the ridge from the B3387 direction, heading over Chinkwell Tor to this tor. I have approached from the west up the very steep hill and this is hard, hard work indeed!! This tor is nowhere near any military firing ranges.
