The is a small rocky outcrop, mainly of clitter type stones sitting just up the hill from Shavercombe Tor and Waterfall. Hen Tor itself sits just to the south west and is just a stones throw away. The easiest way here is probably from the Ditsworthy Warren House direction, crossing at the weir, providing the water isn’t too high. The views from here are pretty good with Eylesbarrow and the area around Drizzlecombe laid out below you, the views continue west to Princetown, Great Mis Tor and Cox Tor among others. There are no military ranges near here.
