This is a small outcrop overlooking the River Walkham and is in the valley between Roos Tor and Great Mis Tor. This tor is always a bit further down the hill from Roos Tor than you think and is nearer to the river (and the leat) than it needs to be. Approaching from Roos Tor (which is the best way) involves a pathless route to a rocky outcrop which is out of sight from Roos Tor. However below you is the leat and the river which gives a great view out to the south from this place. You are on the edge of the Merrivale firing range here, so obey the flags on Roos Tor and Great Mis Tor if walking here.
