This tor lies just southwest and down hill from Higher Castor. Its an easy outcrop to find if coming from that way, if you are coming uphill then it will be a steep climb. This decent outcrop is deep in woodlands so there are no views and there is a fence running through the outcrop however to reach the lower part simply walk east downhill to the end of the fence and return uphill. Not much really to report on this tor and its higher cousin uphill is far better. There are no military ranges near here.
