A nice little tor sitting on the side of Black Hill in the direction of the hamlet of Leighon. Unlike its bigger neighbour Leighon Tor, which is facing more towards Greator Rocks, this one feels a bit more attached to the hamlet. The rocks are pretty big for a lesser tor and run down the hill towards the track above the hamlet. If you follow the track out of Leighon on the way to Trendlebere Down, you will pass some of the lower rocks right by the track and also look up the hill to see the main part of the outcrop. The views are lovely towards Hound Tor in the northwest and round to the east towards Lustleigh. There are no military areas near here.

The track from Trendlebere Down to Leighon with the lower part of Lower Leighon Tor right by the track

The main outcrops, they go further back as well, the gate to Leighon hamlet is just to my right here
