Saddle Tor

A very easy tor to get to with plenty of car parks running along the B3387 road from Haytor. Not as busy as its near neighbour but the views are just as good, especially towards the sea at Teignmouth. There are a couple of decent sized granite outcrops here and they deserve a bit of recognition. As mentioned, in summer/holidays, this will be a busy spot but come early or late in the day to enjoy a fine place. There are no military firing ranges in this area.
