Like nearby Ter Hill this one is a bit of a boggy, flat, featureless lump. There are few paths, making it hard work to get up here and no real obvious summit just a flat expanse of tufty grass. The views west and north are very good indeed and this hill is reasonably easy to get near to from Hexworthy by heading up the Hooten Wheals path and on to Skir Hill, it’s just the last few hundred metres that aren’t much fun. No military firing areas around this hill.
