Ter Hill is one of a few hills in this area which is a pretty flat, uninteresting mound. Similar to Skir Hill and Down Ridge it doesn’t offer the walker too much in drama or excitement, unless that is that you like slightly boggy, tufty grass covered hills. The long distance views to the west and north are excellent however Ter Hill is not the easiest to get to because of the terrain and the remoteness. Parking at Hexworthy seems to be the best option, making first for Skir Hill and then on to Ter Hill. There are no military firing areas near here.
