From the back there doesn’t look too much to Smallacombe Rocks, but they are a decent sized rocky outcrop. They are one of many in this area, in fact it is possible to bag about 7 or 8 tors within 2 miles of this spot. There are good views across the valley to Greator Rocks and Hound Tor, as well as back around to Holwell Tor, where the quarry is clearly in view from here. There are plenty of paths that criss cross this area with most people heading here from Haytor or up the valley side from Hound Tor. There are no military firing areas near this tor.
