Slightly further east and higher than its neighbour Western Beacon, Ugborough Beacon stands high above the town of South Brent and also gives fabulous views across the South Hams to the sea. It also has excellent views northwards towards Brent Moor and beyond. Parking for this beacon is best in Wrangaton and head up past the golf course. There are no military firing ranges in the area.
