Water Hill sits within a stones throw of The Warren House Inn, just past Postbridge. There is a large cairn at its summit and good views in every direction, particularly to the south to Ryders Hill and across to Hameldown to the southeast. It is an easy summit to get to and the views are worth the small effort. There are no military ranges near here.
