Lake Viaduct

Built during the 1870s this viaduct used to carry the railway traffic between Lydford and Okehampton. Nowadays it only carries walkers and cyclists as it is part of the Garnite Way cycle path. The views once you get on to the moor at Lake Down, back over the viaduct, are superb. Cornwall stretches out in the distance when the weather is good and provides a lovely places for a coffee break.
