Western Wella Brook Clapper Bridge

This must be one of the newest clapper bridges on the moor, being erected in 2018. It is in a good position near to the Huntingdon Cross, in an area that was previously pretty boggy and always tricky to get around. There has clearly been a bit of work in the area, with a pipe to take water quickly down to the River Avon as well as this new bridge. Credit to those that have funded this clapper and on a popular path it will be well used.

As the plaque says this is Western Wella Brook clapper bridge

The Huntingdon Cross is directly behind me and this is Western Wella Brook clapper. The brook flows into the River Avon which is flowing away from us
