As it suggest this is a church sitting in the small hamlet of Leusdon, near to Poundsgate in the South East corner of the moor. St John the Baptist is a decent sized church, and is a Victorian church built in 1863, which is unlike most of the other Dartmoor churches. The inside is plainly decorated which lots of memorials and a stained glass window (Ypres) to those lost in the world wars.
