Bennet’s Cross

This is a small cross sitting beside the B3212 road from Two Bridges to Moretonhampstead, not far from the Warren House Inn. The cross is believed to have been erected as far back as the 16th or 17th century in memory of William Bennet who owned the tin mines in this area
