Batch of parking both in the town of Buckfastleigh/Buckfast, but also on the moor as it heads out past Hembury Castle. There are a couple of car parking spots in Buckfastleigh itself, the first just off Plymouth Road as you are heading in along the road towards The Globe pub. The second is off Chapel Street (called the Mardle Way car park), opposite the Co-op, both the spots in Buckfastleigh have a cost to park. Another parking spot is at Buckfast Abbey itself and allows easy access to this place, and has the benefit of being free whilst you are here. Finally are the spots up in the woodlands near to Hembury Castle, as you head uphill the road heads into trees, with parking spots on the left first, then 2 spots on the right hand side, these will take around 10 cars in total, which should be plenty for people to see the old castle mounds and walk the woodlands.
