Kings Tor sits high above the Walkham Valley with fantastic views northwards towards Cox Tor the Staple Tors and the impressive Great Mis Tor. All around Kings Tor lies evidence of man’s industry, 4 quarries can be seen (Ingra, Swell, Foggin and Merrivale), along with the Plymouth to Princetown railway which curls around the back of Kings Tor before heading to Princetown. There are no firing ranges near this tor.
