Saddlesborough

Saddlesbrough sits on Shaugh Moor above the Lee Moor Clay workings just north of Beatland Corner. If you are heading north along the road towards Cadover and get to Shaden Moor Cross, then do a 90 degree turn right and head up the hill to reach the summit. The views from the top are pretty good you can see back to Plymouth Sound in the south, with North Hessary Tor and the mast to the north. Hen Tor, Shell Top, Lee Moor are all in view as well. The biggest sight however is the Lee Moor China clay workings and from here its impossible not to see them, unfortunately! With Hawks Tor and Collard Tor also nearby you can include those in any walk up here, simple parking at Beatland Corner should give you a nice round to this walk. There are no military areas near here
