Broad Falls

Broad Falls sits on the River Avon a couple of miles from its source. They are wedged between Redlake and Huntingdon Warren and when in full spate are a decent cascade of water over large granite rocks. There isn’t a drop as such on these falls just a series of continuing small drops over 40 or 50 metres. Its a lovely spot to sit and have lunch or to wildcamp as there is a flatter area south of the falls. To get here pass Avon Dam and head to Huntingdon Clapper Bridge, from here follow the grassy track along the eastern side of the Avon.
