Buckland in the Moor church

St Peter’s church sits in the dispersed hamlet of Buckland in the Moor, looking out across the Webburn valley. The church dates from 1500, with parts built back as far as 1200, as a Norman church. The superb rood screen inside the church is from 1500 as well, with parts repaired in the 1900’s. And outside is a rare thatched vestry, overall a brilliant place to visit.
