This page will cover the parking in the north western section of Dartmoor on the map. From Peter Tavy and Mary Tavy in the south, following the A386 northwards, through Sourton and on to Okehampton. With the areas around Okehampton Camp, Meldon Reservoir, Sticklepath and Belstone also covered. These are good areas to head out to Yes Tor and High Willhays (the highest points on Dartmoor) and also Cosdon Hill and Hangingstone Hill. There is also a bonus parking area in the south east corner of this section, in the centre of Dartmoor around Postbridge and the East Dart River.
