A day off work and a chance to get out for a walk, not too far from home but this is a first visit to the stone row behind Down Tor and its a fine example of its type. Another chance to climb my first ever tor of Down Tor and one of my favourites. Plenty of school groups in the area today, one of which was having a picnic by Leather Tor Bridge, lets hope they gain an appreciation and love for this place as I did when I came here with school back in 1990.
