Arnison Crag

We have come to The Lakes in autumn for a week to sample the changing colours and weather at this time of year, with that there will hopefully be less bracken than in the summer as well!! We were staying in Troutbeck, so whilst waiting for the house to be ready, we popped over the Kirkstone Pass to Patterdale for a quick walk to stretch the legs after a long journey. The rain had stopped and we took a chance, only to get a deluge when we reached the summit!

Distance – 2 miles    Start time – 2pm     Time taken – 1 1/2hrs    Highest Point – Arnison Crag 433m
