Swell Tor

If your after a simple walk, nothing too tough but still with views and maybe some history thrown is as well, this walk is perfect. Perfect for families, old and young. The old railway track bed leaves Princetown running parallel with the Plymouth road and loops around the back of Swell Tor and Kings Tor. Its a simple walk to the top of both although you don’t have to in order to take in the views across to Great Mis Tor.

Almost back to Princetown at the end of a nice simple walk, the railway trackbed continues over to Ingra Tor and past Leeden Tor and towards the Burrator area and Dousland, allowing for the walk to be extended if needed.
