It was the day of the half solar eclipse but to be honest, on Dartmoor, it kind of barely happened. It went a bit darker I guess and a bit cooler, but nothing like a full solar eclipse!! I grabbed a quick photo as it emerged behind a cloud which obscured the glare from the sun as we drove across Dartmoor heading for the Warren House Inn. It was a good walk but one I would do again in order to appreciate the no doubt good vistas which were missing due to heavy haze!!
