Time for something a little different, this was my last day on holiday before heading back to work the next day. I’d not been to Bigbury for a while and whilst the car park charges are steep its a good place for a little walk, especially across to Burgh Island. The tide was just about right allowing for a walk across the beach to the island as the tide retreated to its low lying state. This was also the second sunset in 2 days for me and provided a beautiful end to the holiday.

Looking across the sandy causeway to Burgh Island, the tide is retreating and it won’t be long before you can walk across.
The sea tractor rocks – I want one! Have you had a ride in it? Beautiful pictures as always.

Yes been in the sea tractor once a few years ago and it is cool. Its a lovely spot, I’d forgotten how nice to be honest. One of those things where its great to go to new places and see new things, but sometimes a revisit back to an old favourite gives just as much joy.

We went to Bigbury a few years ago and loved it. Thanks for sharing. I have just started a poetry blog here on WordPress in case you have time to look? Have a good day, Sam 🙂
